Paytm, India’s digital payments company, has announced a new partnership with online travel platform Agoda to offer hotel booking services on the Paytm app. This collaboration allows Paytm users to easily access Agoda’s wide range of accommodation options both domestically and internationally.

Currently, the shares of One 97 Communications Limited, the parent company of Paytm, are trading at ₹772.65, showing a decrease of ₹37.15 or 4.59% on the NSE as of 12:05 pm today.

By integrating Agoda’s hotel booking services, Paytm Travel expands its offerings, which already include bookings for flights, buses, and trains. Users can now take advantage of Agoda’s extensive hotel inventory along with exclusive deals and offers through the Paytm app.

Vikash Jalan, CEO of Paytm Travel, expressed that this partnership solidifies their position as a comprehensive travel solution provider. Damien Pfirsch, Chief Commercial Officer of Agoda, highlighted that the collaboration aims to enhance booking convenience for Indian travelers.

As an IATA-accredited travel agent, Paytm Travel provides features such as free cancellations, instant refunds, and travel insurance. In addition, the platform offers special discounts through its banking partnerships.

Headquartered in Singapore, Agoda is part of Booking Holdings and operates a vast network of over 5 million hotels and holiday properties worldwide. With a presence in 27 markets and services in 39 languages, Agoda provides round-the-clock customer support through its team of over 7,000 employees.

In conclusion, the partnership between Paytm and Agoda introduces a seamless hotel booking experience for Paytm users and strengthens both companies’ positions in the travel industry.
