Alchemy Capital Management, a prominent provider of Portfolio Management Services, has introduced its newest Category III AIF offering, the Alchemy Smart Alpha 250 Fund (Fund). The primary goal of this Fund is to achieve long-term capital appreciation by focusing predominantly on listed large and mid-cap investments.

The Fund, with a minimum investment size of ₹1 crore, is available to Resident Indians, NRIs, Accredited Investors, HNI, Hindu undivided Family (HUF), Banks, Bodies Corporate, Partnership Firm, and Trusts.

Utilizing a combination of quantitative and active investment management styles, the Fund is rooted in Alchemy’s proprietary eQGP framework (Environment, Quality, Growth, Price).

Alok Agarwal, Head of Quant & Fund Manager, stated, “The Alchemy Smart Alpha 250 Fund is built on the successful Alchemy Smart Alpha 250 – PMS strategy, which has demonstrated a strong track record. Through thorough back-testing and real-time assessments, the Fund adjusts to changing market cycles to generate superior risk-adjusted returns.”

Hiren Ved, Director & CIO of Alchemy Capital Management, added, “The Alchemy Smart Alpha 250 Fund aims to capitalize on significant alpha opportunities through an impartial evaluation of fundamental factors, supported by a robust risk management framework to deliver consistent returns and alpha. Its effectiveness lies in the process rather than individual stock selection.”

Since its inception in August 2023, the PMS strategy – Alchemy Smart Alpha 250 has delivered a notable CAGR of 40.8 per cent compared to the benchmark BSE 500 TRI returns of 22.3 per cent.

Overall, the Alchemy Smart Alpha 250 Fund is positioned to provide investors with a unique opportunity to access a well-designed strategy focused on generating long-term capital appreciation through a disciplined and analytical approach.
