Rekindled Romance: Imran Khan’s Comeback with Bhumi Pednekar

Bollywood actor Imran Khan has been absent from the big screen since 2015, but exciting news indicates his comeback in a new Netflix project. The film, a romantic comedy directed by Danish Aslam, who previously worked with Imran on ‘Break Ke Baad’, is generating buzz. Rumors suggest that actress Bhumi Pednekar will star alongside Imran in this much-anticipated film, marking their first collaboration. Although Bhumi has yet to sign on officially, it will potentially be her third project with Netflix India.

The script for the film is nearing completion, with plans to start shooting in March 2025 after pre-production. Imran’s fans are eagerly anticipating his return to the screen, especially after a previous project with Disney+ Hotstar was cancelled due to corporate changes. This Netflix film serves as Imran’s official comeback to the industry.

Meanwhile, Bhumi Pednekar is gearing up for her role in the crime thriller ‘Daldal’ on Amazon Prime Video, where she plays a detective investigating gruesome murders. She is also set to appear in ‘Pati, Patni Aur Woh 2’ alongside Kartik Aaryan and the Netflix series ‘The Royals’. Additionally, she is slated to star in ‘Mere Biwi Ki Husband’ with Arjun Kapoor and Rakul Preet, although the film’s release has been delayed.

Excitement is building for Imran Khan and Bhumi Pednekar’s collaboration in this upcoming Netflix project, promising an entertaining and engaging cinematic experience for audiences.
