Samajwadi Party Rajya Sabha MP Ram Gopal Yadav created a major controversy when he made inflammatory remarks during an interview. His comments seemed to be disrespectful towards Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud and his recent statements on the Ayodhya verdict. A video of the interview was widely shared on social media, causing a stir.

Yadav faced criticism for his comments, where he appeared to use abusive language in reference to the CJI’s remarks. He seemed to question Chandrachud’s credibility and intentions in handling the Ayodhya temple dispute. However, in a later statement, Yadav denied making any derogatory comments and praised the Chief Justice for his reputation and character.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) reacted strongly to Yadav’s remarks, condemning his disrespectful attitude towards the judiciary. BJP spokesperson Rakesh Tripathi called for strict action against Yadav, accusing him of showing a lack of faith in the country’s constitution and independent judiciary. Tripathi urged the Samajwadi Party to take disciplinary action against Yadav for his behavior.
