In the 21K race, the 30–39 age category showcased exceptional balance and control. This distance challenges both endurance and discipline, compelling runners to manage their pace and sustain their effort. Known for their remarkable consistency, participants in this category performed commendably.

Frida Parnas and Sonali Gupta were notable for their composed and steady runs, maintaining their rhythm with focus and clarity throughout the course. Their performances emphasized sustained control rather than sudden bursts of speed. Sonali Gupta’s experience is particularly noteworthy; she has gradually built her running routine since 2022, culminating in a significant milestone on December 31, 2025, when she completed a run exceeding 15 kilometers. Despite facing injuries, Gupta persisted in her training, adapting her approach to tasks while completing her first half marathon at the Cognizant Run. She has also maintained an exemplary weekly running routine of 35–40 kilometers.

Similarly, G S Divya, a medical professional, started running regularly alongside her husband and previously participated in smaller marathons. Over time, running has become a component of her daily routine, seamlessly integrating into her life. Her approach during the race reflects her measured mindset, balancing a commitment to fitness with practicality and consistency.

What distinguishes this age category is not solely performance, but the sustainability of that performance across the distance. These runners recognize that completing a 21K race involves more than just pushing hard; it requires maintaining a consistent rhythm throughout.

Characterized by calm, balance, and control, the runners of the 30–39 age group are not chasing extremes. Instead, they are focused on building endurance in a manner that is both practical and sustainable, aligning with their everyday lives. This approach enhances the potency of their performances, demonstrating that in the 30–39 age category, the 21K is not just a test of endurance, but also of consistency, particularly as the distance begins to challenge them.
