The moment has arrived once again, as the Chiefs seem to find a way into yet another Super Bowl, and even your legendary 13-layer dip might not suffice to enhance your gathering. You require a strategy. The optimal answer for a more exciting event is an upgraded screen, and with a new wave of TV launches on the horizon, now is the perfect opportunity to snag fantastic deals on the top televisions available. Not every discount is worth your attention, so we’ve sifted through the options to highlight the best bargains. Whether you’re seeking a massive budget-friendly option or a high-end OLED loaded with features, these are the best TV deals for the Super Bowl.

Hisense’s U7N is our top pick for most consumers due to its vibrant and well-balanced performance. Despite a few minor drawbacks, this value-driven TV boasts an ultra-bright display with quantum dots for stunning colors and impressive backlight control, minimizing light bleed. Gamers will appreciate its dual HDMI 2.1 ports, allowing for a variable refresh rate (VRR) of up to 144 Hz, while the Google TV interface ensures an easy and fast setup and streaming experience. The 65-inch variant I reviewed retails for around $700 on sale, but the 75-inch model represents an even better relative bargain, providing a larger screen for the “big game.” For more details, check out our complete review of the Hisense U7N.

Roku’s Pro Series (7/10, WIRED Recommends) elevates the already solid Plus Series, proving that the brand known for its excellent software can compete with the top midrange televisions. You’ll enjoy all the highlights, including deep black levels, solid brightness, and quantum dots for realistic colors, as well as a 120-Hz refresh rate designed for high-speed content and gaming features like VRR. The prime reason to opt for the Pro Series is its user-friendliness, highlighted by our preferred smart interface, Roku OS, along with convenient features like a button on the side of the screen to summon your remote when it slips between the cushions. Although, like most LED TVs, it has a few drawbacks such as limited off-axis viewing, this screen is an outstanding choice for its price, especially when discounted, and its numerous features enhance user experience.

One of the best offers on our list is a television that I reviewed in 2023, yet it remains one of the finest options you can find. As LG’s mid-tier OLED, the C-series offers a blend of premium quality and significant value, especially during a good sale. This 77-inch model provides a wealth of breathtaking OLED space defined by perfect black levels, natural but captivating colors, and impressive brightness that delivers exhilarating contrast, drawing you in. It also includes top-tier gaming features across all four HDMI 2.1 inputs and LG’s Magic Remote for simplified control reminiscent of Wii-style operation. This is a luxury TV that will mesmerize you with every image, whether it’s the pivotal plays on the field or the most absurd commercials. Priced attractively, it’s a deal that’s hard to resist.

If you seek a premium display that’s especially suited for bright environments, Samsung’s QN90D (8/10, WIRED Recommends) is your answer. This television shines with brightness, combined with impressive quantum dot colors, crystal-clear picture processing, and precise backlight control for a dynamic viewing experience. Compared to the more budget-friendly LED TVs on our list, the QN90D provides improved screen uniformity and off-axis viewing for a more balanced performance that rivals OLED. While the TV’s backlight control may be somewhat slow, and Samsung frustratingly lacks support for Dolby Vision, as I noted in my review, this is one of my favorite screens for enjoying a perfectly wasted Sunday watching football. It’s fate!

We couldn’t compile this list without including at least one ultra-large television. Enter TCL’s QM7 (6/10, WIRED Reviewed), currently available in a staggering 98-inch size for just under two grand. This is projector-like size in a screen that showcases rich black levels, incredibly bright quantum dot colors, and impressive punch overall. I encountered an issue in my review unit where the SDR picture settings influenced HDR, which resulted in the lower score. However, this does not appear to be widespread, and overall, the QM7 is among the best TVs I’ve tested in its category, offering a combination of great features, surprisingly good screen uniformity, and excellent 4K detail for the price. If you are willing to take a risk on the software, this could be the large-budget purchase you’ve been dreaming of.
