The programme, which is open to women-led businesses in the fashion, beauty, and home categories, offers a range of benefits including seamless onboarding services, dedicated account management, operational training, business optimization, mentorship, and marketing and growth support.

In the lead-up to March, there has been a noticeable surge in conversations around gender equality. The Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development at the Great Lakes Institute of Management in Gurgaon has conducted a study showing that discussions on gender equality tend to peak during specific occasions and events. The analysis of business dailies using the SCORE index revealed that gender equality receives relatively low consistent media attention. The study highlighted spikes in discourse around events such as Women’s Day, Raksha Bandhan, and the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. The findings underscore the importance of mainstreaming the gender equality discourse throughout the year, rather than just during certain occasions.
The discussion around gender equality is crucial in fostering a more inclusive society, and initiatives like MynShakti play a vital role in empowering women to achieve their entrepreneurial goals in the e-commerce landscape. By keeping the gender equality conversation alive year-round, we can work towards creating a more equitable and supportive environment for women in business.
