New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., the leading automaker in the country, has announced a price reduction across its entire lineup of vehicles in response to the recent Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate cut. This adjustment applies to both budget-friendly and luxury vehicles, enhancing affordability for consumers in India.

Significant Discounts on Entry-Level Models

Among the most notable changes, the Alto K10, Maruti Suzuki’s entry-level hatchback, has seen a substantial price drop, now available at Rs 3,69,900, a decrease of up to Rs 1,07,600. Other popular hatchbacks, including the Wagon-R, Swift, Ignis, and Baleno, have also undergone major reductions, offering increased value for price-sensitive buyers.

Revised Prices of Small Cars (Starting Price):

  • Alto K10: Rs 3,69,900 (Cheaper by Rs 1,07,600)
  • Wagon-R: Rs 4,98,900 (Cheaper by Rs 79,600)
  • Ignis: Rs 5,35,100 (Cheaper by Rs 71,300)
  • Swift: Rs 5,78,900 (Cheaper by Rs 84,600)
  • Baleno: Rs 5,98,900 (Cheaper by Rs 86,100)
  • Dzire: Rs 6,25,600 (Cheaper by Rs 87,700)
  • Fronx: Rs 6,84,900 (Cheaper by Rs 1,12,600)
  • Brezza: Rs 8,25,900 (Cheaper by Rs 1,12,700)

Reductions for SUVs and Luxury Models

Maruti Suzuki’s higher-end models have also become more accessible. The Grand Vitara’s starting price has been adjusted to Rs 10,76,500, reflecting a reduction of up to Rs 1,07,000. The Jimny compact SUV will now be available for Rs 12,31,500, while the Ertiga MPV experiences a price cut of Rs 46,400.

Updated Prices of Luxury Cars (Starting Price):

  • Grand Vitara: Rs 10,76,500 (Price cut by Rs 1,07,000)
  • Jimny: Rs 12,31,500 (Price cut by Rs 51,900)
  • Ertiga: Rs 8,80,000 (Price cut by Rs 46,400)
  • XL6: Rs 11,52,300 (Price cut by Rs 52,000)
  • Invicto: Rs 24,97,400 (Price cut by Rs 61,700)

Increased Affordability for Buyers

This strategic move is expected to be a relief for car buyers in India, particularly as demand in the automotive sector continues to escalate. With savings ranging from Rs 46,000 to over Rs 1.12 lakh, customers have compelling reasons to consider Maruti Suzuki’s extensive selection, which spans from entry-level hatchbacks to premium SUVs.
