Mallikarjun Kharge: BJP branded as party of terrorists by PM Modi

The Congress leader lambasted the BJP as a “party of terrorists” on Saturday, in response to criticism from the ruling party. He went on to accuse members of the saffron party of engaging in acts of lynching, violence, and atrocities against SC/STs. These comments came after Prime Minister Modi repeatedly linked the Opposition to ‘urban Naxals’.

“Modi has a habit of branding Congress as an urban Naxal party, but what about his own party? BJP is filled with terrorists who are responsible for violent incidents. Modi should not point fingers when his own party is guilty of such actions,” the leader was quoted as saying.

In his defense, PM Modi had previously stated that the recent election results reflect the positive mood in the country, showcasing the rejection of divisive tactics employed by the Congress and “urban Naxals”.

During a recent event in Maharashtra, Modi warned the public to be wary of the Congress, accusing them of being influenced by urban Naxals who are bent on dividing the nation. He urged unity among citizens to thwart the alleged schemes of the Opposition party.

In separate instances, the Prime Minister reiterated his stance, emphasizing that the Congress and urban Naxals attempted to mislead various sections of society, including Dalits and farmers, but were unsuccessful in their endeavors.

“The Congress and their urban Naxal allies tried to deceive the public, but their plans were foiled. They sought to manipulate Dalits, but their true motives were exposed. The Dalit community saw through their ploys to divide and disrupt,” Modi declared.

Overall, the Prime Minister’s statements suggest a strong stance against the Congress and urban Naxals, while rallying for unity and vigilance among the public.
