The Mukhyamantri Majhi Ladki Bahin scheme is at the forefront of the state’s initiatives, featuring a significant budget of ₹1,400 crore. This program offers crucial support to women aged 21 to 60 through a monthly stipend of ₹1,500, positively impacting the lives of over 2.5 crore women so far. With an annual allocation of ₹46,000 crore dedicated to this scheme, the state is reaffirming its commitment to empowering women.

Agricultural workers, who are often considered the foundation of the state’s economy, will also benefit from important initiatives. The Mukhyamantri Baliraja Scheme has been allocated ₹3,050 crore to provide free electricity for agricultural pumps with a capacity of up to 7.5 horsepower. Additionally, ₹1,204 crore has been set aside to assist struggling sugar cooperative factories through margin money loans.

Considerable funds are also directed toward essential government departments. The Public Works Department will receive ₹7,490 crore to enhance infrastructure development, while industries, energy, and labor will be supported with ₹4,112 crore to stimulate the state’s economic growth. Both urban and rural development projects will be funded with ₹2,774 crore and ₹2,007 crore, respectively, ensuring that the state’s progress reaches all regions. The Tribal Development Department has been allocated ₹1,830 crore to improve conditions for marginalized communities.

Social welfare initiatives are receiving robust financial support as well, with ₹2,600 crore designated for the Other Backward Bahujan Welfare Department, ₹2,135 crore for water resources, ₹2,155 crore for women and child development, and ₹2,147 crore aimed at enhancing agricultural sectors. Furthermore, the healthcare sector will benefit from an allocation of ₹2,049 crore to strengthen medical education and healthcare services across Maharashtra.
