Today marks the reporting of Q4 results for several companies including Bajaj Consumer Care Ltd, Aditya Birla Money Ltd, and Wipro, among others. In addition to these firms, stocks to watch include HDFC Life Insurance Company, HDFC Asset Management Company, and Angel One.

Market Overview:

At 9:16 AM, benchmark indices opened nearly flat. The Sensex saw a slight increase of 91.06 points, or 0.12%, moving to 78,079.74, while Nifty 50 saw a drop of 34.55 points, or 0.14%, settling at 24,162.20.

Wipro Q4 Results: Shares in Decline

As of 9:22 AM, shares of Wipro were trading at Rs 204.79 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), experiencing a decline of 3.6% from the previous close of Rs 210.26. For the quarter ending in March, Wipro reported a net income of ₹3,501 crore, showing a quarter-on-quarter increase of 12.3%, but declining 1.9% year-on-year. The board has approved a ₹15,000 crore buyback at ₹250 per share, which is set to cover up to 60 crore equity shares, about 5.7% of the total paid-up equity capital.

Wipro Q4 Results – Buyback Announcement

At 9:08 AM, Wipro announced its tender buyback price set at ₹250. The buyback size is ₹15,000 crore, and it aims to cover approximately 60 million shares, with a retail quota of 9 million shares. The record date for this buyback is yet to be announced.

Angel One Q4 Results – Profit Growth

Angel One reported a quarter-on-quarter profit increase of 19% to ₹320 crore, with revenue rising 9% to ₹1,459 crore. The company’s EBITDA grew by 13% to ₹599 crore, improving margins from 39.7% to 41%. Additionally, Angel One has plans to raise ₹1,500 crore via non-convertible debentures (NCDs) and has increased its borrowing limits to ₹20,000 crore.

Waaree Renewable Q4 Results – Performance Highlights

Waaree Renewable Technologies Limited (WRTL) announced strong performance figures for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026, with total revenue from operations soaring to ₹3,33,142.22 lakh, a 108% increase from ₹1,59,774.79 lakh in FY25. The net profit for the year more than doubled to ₹47,863.59 lakh from ₹22,892.47 lakh in the previous year. Basic earnings per share (EPS) surged to ₹45.91, compared to ₹22.00 in FY25.

HDFC Life Dividend Update

HDFC Life Insurance Company Limited’s board has recommended a final dividend of ₹2.10 per equity share of face value ₹10 each for the financial year 2025-26, pending shareholder approval at the upcoming Annual General Meeting. The record date for determining shareholder entitlement for this final dividend is set for June 19, 2026.

Alok Industries Q4 Results – Focus Shift

Alok Industries Limited reported its consolidated financial results for the quarter and the year ending March 31, 2026, showing a reduction in annual losses. The total revenue from operations for the year stood at ₹3,714.79 crore, reflecting marginal growth compared to ₹3,708.78 crore recorded in FY25.

Wipro Q4 Results – Continued Pressure

Wipro’s net income for the quarter ended March increased by 12.3%, totaling ₹3,501 crore. However, concerns linger due to weaker guidance amid a historic buyback announcement worth ₹15,000 crore.
