The launch of the Magnus Neo electric scooter by Greaves Electric Mobility Limited (GEML) marks a significant step in the company’s efforts to promote sustainable mobility solutions in India. Priced at ₹79,999, the Magnus Neo offers an impressive range of over 100 kilometres and a top speed of 65 kmph, making it a viable option for urban commuters looking to switch to electric vehicles.

One of the key highlights of the Magnus Neo is its LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery, which comes with a warranty of 5 years or 75,000 kilometres. This ensures long-term reliability and peace of mind for customers. Additionally, the scooter offers three riding modes, a reverse mode, and a portable battery with a relatively quick charging time of 5-6 hours, making it convenient for daily use.

In terms of design, the Magnus Neo features a sleek and modern aesthetic, with 12-inch alloy wheels and a range of colour options to choose from. The optional smart connectivity features further enhance the overall user experience, allowing riders to stay connected while on the go.

To make the Magnus Neo more accessible to a wider audience, GEML is offering attractive financing options starting at 5.75 per cent interest per annum. This initiative aims to encourage more people to embrace electric vehicles and contribute to reducing emissions and pollution in cities across India.

With the Magnus Neo set to be showcased at the upcoming Auto Expo 2025 in Delhi, GEML is poised to generate significant interest and drive adoption of electric scooters in the Indian market. The successful completion of a 2,000-kilometre journey from Bengaluru to Delhi further demonstrates the reliability and performance of the Magnus Neo, instilling confidence in potential buyers.

Overall, the launch of the Magnus Neo electric scooter represents a major milestone for GEML and reinforces the company’s commitment to sustainable mobility solutions. As the demand for electric vehicles continues to rise, the Magnus Neo is well-positioned to cater to the evolving needs of urban commuters and contribute to a greener, cleaner future for India.
