New Delhi: Shah Rukh Khan has solidified his status as the ‘King’ of Bollywood by debuting in the billionaire category of the Hurun India Rich List 2025, marking him as the world’s richest actor. His net worth has been reported at ₹12,490 crore, surpassing well-known artists such as Taylor Swift, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Jerry Seinfeld.

Following Khan in the rankings is esteemed actress and his longtime friend, Juhi Chawla, who now stands as the second richest actor with a net worth of ₹7,790 crore. Notably, despite not having featured in a leading role for the past nine years, Chawla’s financial accomplishments continue to place her ahead of contemporary actresses like Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt.

The Hurun report indicates a significant increase in Chawla’s wealth, which rose from ₹4,600 crore in 2024 to ₹7,790 crore in 2025—an increase of ₹3,200 crore within just a year. Her position in the industry is attributed to shrewd investments and business strategies, as she and her family now outrank other figures, including Hrithik Roshan, who is third with a net worth of ₹2,160 crore, and Karan Johar, fourth with ₹1,630 crore.

Chawla began her film career in 1986 with the movie ‘Sultanat,’ just two years after winning the Miss India title in 1984. She quickly rose to prominence, working alongside major stars, including Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Ajay Devgn, Sunny Deol, and Rishi Kapoor.

In 2007, Juhi Chawla partnered with her husband Jay Mehta and Shah Rukh Khan to invest in the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders, which has since become one of the most successful franchises in the tournament.

For more details, refer to the Hurun Rich List 2025, which highlights Shah Rukh Khan as the wealthiest Indian actor and provides insights into other top-ranking personalities.
