Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan’s latest release, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, has once again made headlines following its OTT release. The star-studded film has hit Netflix after a successful run in cinemas. The third installment of this horror-comedy franchise went head-to-head with another big release, Singham Again, but emerged victorious, becoming Kartik’s biggest blockbuster to date. Prior to BB3, Kartik starred in Kabir Khan’s Chandu Champion, a film that fared better critically but didn’t attract as many viewers to theaters.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 was originally released on November 1, coinciding with Diwali. With a budget of Rs 150-180 crores, the film managed to rake in Rs 418 crores worldwide, outperforming Singham Again, which had a budget of Rs 350 crores and earned Rs 389.64 crores globally. The star-studded cast of BB3 includes Kartik Aaryan, Triptii Dimri, Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, and Rajpal Yadav, while Singham Again features Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, and Tiger Shroff.

Following its theatrical run, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 made its way to Netflix on December 27 and is currently ranked second on India’s top 10 films list on the platform. Despite receiving mixed reviews from critics, Anees Bazmee’s film performed well at the box office.

Looking ahead, Kartik Aaryan is set to star in Vishal Bharadwaj’s upcoming project, with a recent announcement of his collaboration with Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions for a film titled “Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri.” Meanwhile, Triptii Dimri is juggling multiple film projects, including Dhadak 2 opposite Siddhanth Chaturvedi and an untitled film alongside Shahid Kapoor.
