D’YAVOL Vortex has been named Best New Scotch Whisky of the Year and awarded a Double Gold at the 2025 San Francisco Spirits Competition, the company announced today. The recognition marks the latest in a series of international awards for the blended Scotch.

D’YAVOL Spirits is a joint venture between Shah Rukh Khan, Aryan Khan’s D’YAVOL Luxury Collective, Radico Khaitan and Nikhil Kamath. The partnership has focused on developing a portfolio of premium spirits for global markets.

Vortex is a blended Scotch combining single malt and single grain whiskies from Scotland’s Lowlands, Highlands, Speyside and Islay regions. The product is non-chill-filtered and features a malt-forward profile with subtle peat influence.

The San Francisco award follows Vortex being named Blended Scotch of the Year at the London Spirits Competition 2025. The whisky has also received gold medals at the Scotch Whisky Masters 2025, New York World Spirits Competition 2024, and International Wine & Spirits Awards 2024.

Leti Blagoeva, CEO of D’YAVOL Spirits, noted the back-to-back international recognition. Amar Sinha, Chief Operating Officer at Radico Khaitan, said the awards reflect the venture’s focus on quality and craftsmanship.

The D’YAVOL range also includes a single estate vodka and a blended malt Scotch, both of which have received international awards. The brand is currently sold in India, the UAE and the UK, with plans for further market expansion.

The shares of Radico Khaitan Limited ended on the NSE today at ₹3,272.50 up by ₹12.90 or 0.40 per cent.
