The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has decided to reschedule the CTET 2024 exam due to administrative reasons. The new exam date is now set for December 15, 2024, instead of the previously announced date of December 1. In certain cities where there is a high number of candidates, the exam may also be held on December 14.

The online application process for the CTET December 2024 exam began on September 17 and will continue until October 16. The exam will be held in 136 cities, a decrease from the 184 cities in the previous July edition.

The exam will be conducted in two shifts, with Paper II in the morning from 9:30 am to 12 pm, and Paper I in the evening from 2:30 pm to 5 pm.

For General/OBC(NCL) category candidates, the registration fee is ₹1000 for one paper and ₹1200 for both papers. For SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person category candidates, the fee is ₹500 for one paper and ₹600 for both papers.

To apply online for the CTET 2024 exam, candidates can visit the official website at ctet.nic.in, register, fill out the application form, upload necessary documents, pay the fee, and submit the form. It is important to enter correct details as per the Class Xth Certificate, as no changes will be permitted after the specified date for corrections.
