Lawrence Bishnoi Syndicate Claims Responsibility for Shooting Incident in Canada

New Delhi: The Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate has taken responsibility for a shooting incident at a café in Canada, which occurred early on Saturday. The gang issued a warning to the café owner and Indian comedian Kapil Sharma, who operates the adjacent establishment, Kap’s Café.

In a social media post linked to a Facebook account named “Tyson Bishnoi Zora Sidhu,” the gang directly threatened Sharma. The post claims responsibility for the gunfire that took place at the Chai Sutta Bar café, located at 8263 120 Street in Surrey, British Columbia, adjacent to Kap’s Café.

The message explicitly addresses Sharma, warning him to “get in line” and refrain from wasting the group’s time. It threatens that he could meet a similar fate as the targeted café if he does not comply with their demands. In 2025, the gang had previously opened fire at Sharma’s café on two separate occasions.

The post further states that if Sharma continues to resist their demands, both Kap’s Café and his residence in Mumbai would become potential targets. The group asserted they would not be influenced by any mediation efforts this time around.

The message concluded with several hashtags linked to known gang figures and groups, including references to the Gogi Maan group and individuals referred to with “RIP.”

While law enforcement has not yet confirmed the authenticity of the post or its connections to specific organized crime syndicates, the direct threats against a prominent public figure and a specific international business establishment have raised significant security concerns.
