Veteran technology leader Hilal Khan, CIO at Honda Cars India has decided to part ways with the company after having served it for 25 years.

The technology leader comes with over three decades of experience in automotive IT, shaping transformation across multiple phases of mobility—from conventional ICE systems to advanced hybrid platforms and emerging EV architectures. His work at Honda Cars India has spanned enterprise IT, manufacturing systems, customer experience platforms, dealer digitalisation and connected mobility, enabling a strong and future-ready digital foundation.

Khan has had the opportunity to lead some of the industry’s earliest digital initiatives, including connected-car platforms, large-scale digital and AI transformation. His focus has consistently been on anticipating technology shifts early, simplifying complexity and building scalable, secure and customer-centric systems that align with global standards.

The technology leader believes that technology must be both strategic and enabling—accelerating business outcomes, strengthening operational excellence and preparing organisations for the next decade of mobility. His work was driven by this philosophy as the industry transitions into an era defined by software, electrification and intelligent experiences.
