New Delhi: The upcoming film from Aamir Khan Productions, titled Ek Din, has generated significant buzz and anticipation among viewers. Described as an emotional and heartfelt love story, the movie features Junaid Khan and Sai Pallavi in leading roles.
Recently, the production team hosted a special event called Ek Din Ki Mehfil, during which the music from the film was showcased. Notably, Aamir Khan surprised attendees by performing a song from the project.

Aamir Khan joined singer Meghna Mishra, who initially recorded the song in collaboration with Arijit Singh. Ram Sampath accompanied them on the keyboard, providing a musical backdrop for Aamir’s heartfelt rendition. The performance highlighted the film’s captivating soundtrack and contributed to the excitement surrounding its release. The production team shared a video of the performance, stating, “Who knew… Ek Din, Aamir Khan would sing. Watch #EkDin only in theatres on 1st May 2026.”

Ek Din marks Aamir Khan’s return to the directorial chair alongside Mansoor Khan, with whom he has not collaborated in many years. The duo has previously created iconic films such as Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak, Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Akele Hum Akele Tum, and Jaane Tu… Ya Jaane Na. This latest venture aims to rekindle the charm of old-fashioned love stories, promising a fresh narrative for fans.
Produced by Aamir Khan Productions, Ek Din stars Sai Pallavi and Junaid Khan, directed by Sunil Pandey, with Aamir Khan, Mansoor Khan, and Aparna Purohit overseeing production. The film is slated for release in theaters on 1st May 2026.
