The combined market valuation of eight of the top-ten most valued firms rose by ₹1,87,497.45 crore during a holiday-shortened week, with Bharti Airtel emerging as the leading gainer in alignment with a positive trend in equities.

During the last week, the BSE benchmark Sensex increased by 943.29 points, or 1.21 percent, while the NSE Nifty advanced by 302.95 points, or 1.25 percent.

“Markets ended the truncated week with significant gains, continuing their upward momentum for the second consecutive week. This performance was supported by easing geopolitical tensions and improved risk sentiment. Optimism surrounding a potential US–Iran peace agreement bolstered market confidence, while stable domestic fundamentals also contributed to this momentum,” noted Ajit Mishra, Senior Vice President of Research at Religare Broking Ltd.

The market valuation of Bharti Airtel saw the largest increase among the top ten firms, rising by ₹58,831.52 crore to a total of ₹11,25,125.21 crore.

Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) experienced a valuation surge of ₹27,608.62 crore, bringing its total to ₹5,32,691.31 crore.

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) added ₹20,731.64 crore, raising its market valuation to ₹9,34,063.56 crore. Reliance Industries saw a gain of ₹20,231.05 crore, increasing its valuation to ₹18,47,317.84 crore, while Larsen & Toubro’s market capitalization climbed by ₹18,577.91 crore to ₹5,63,314.50 crore.

ICICI Bank’s market capitalization rose by ₹18,266.82 crore, reaching ₹9,65,008.67 crore. State Bank of India’s valuation increased by ₹12,599.79 crore to ₹9,97,229.77 crore, and Infosys gained ₹10,650.1 crore, pushing its value to ₹5,34,774.50 crore.

Conversely, the market capitalization of HDFC Bank fell by ₹16,163.04 crore to ₹12,31,315.53 crore. Bajaj Finance’s valuation diminished by ₹9,769.3 crore, resulting in a total of ₹5,65,437.17 crore.

As of now, Reliance Industries remains the most valued firm, followed by HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, TCS, Bajaj Finance, Larsen & Toubro, Infosys, and LIC.
