New Delhi: A popular belief in the Indian film industry suggests that the Khan stars and prominent actors from the South dominate the box office. However, recent developments have highlighted a different scenario. Over the past few years, one actor has achieved remarkable success, breaking records that have astonished audiences. This actor has appeared in films across multiple languages, with four of his movies surpassing the Rs 1,000 crore threshold.

This actor is Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt. Notably, he has achieved the milestone of having four separate films each gross over Rs 1,000 crore. This remarkable feat sets him apart from other major stars, including Aamir Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Prabhas, who have not reached this benchmark.

Sanjay Dutt’s Rs 1,000 crore Film List

While many celebrities have had one or two films break into the Rs 1,000 crore club, Sanjay Dutt has accomplished this with four films. His portrayal of the villain in K.G.F: Chapter 2 (2022) marked his first entry into the Rs 1,000 crore club. Following this, Jawan grossed over Rs 1,100 crore, featuring Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role.

Additionally, Sanjay Dutt’s involvement in Dhurandhar (2025) pushed the film past the Rs 1,300 crore mark. Meanwhile, Dhurandhar 2 (2026) has already collected more than Rs 1,700 crore within just a month of its release. Thus, Dutt is recognized as the only actor with four films successfully crossing the Rs 1,000 crore milestone, earning accolades for this exceptional achievement.

Sanjay Dutt is scheduled to appear next in Ritesh Deshmukh’s films, Raja Shivaji and Aakhiri Sawal, both set for release in May 2026.
