Shares of Om Power Transmission had a robust debut on the stock market, finishing with a gain of 10.5 percent above the initial issue price of ₹175. On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the stock launched at ₹186, representing a premium of 6.2 percent over the IPO price. During the trading session, shares reached a peak of ₹195.30 before closing at ₹193.38. In contrast, on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), shares opened at ₹181.10, which is a more modest premium of 3.5 percent, and finished at the upper circuit limit of ₹190.15.
This debut follows a moderate level of investor interest in the public offering, which was subscribed 3.33 times overall. The initial public offering (IPO) aimed to raise ₹150.06 crore, consisting of a fresh issue of 75.75 lakh shares worth ₹132.56 crore, alongside an offer for sale (OFS) totaling ₹17.50 crore from promoters Vasantkumar Narayanbhai Patel, Kanubhai Patel, and Kalpesh Dhanjibhai Patel.
The strong listing performance suggests a positive sentiment among investors toward Om Power Transmission, even in light of the moderate subscription levels observed during the IPO bidding process.
