The interesting story behind Ajay Devgn’s Phool Aur Kaante split bike entry

In a conversation with Hindustan Times, when asked about his experience filming that iconic sequence, Ajay Devgn replied, “I can’t recall the exact feeling that I experienced when I stood astride those two motorcycles. However, I know it was a moment of complete madness. The nervousness in the pit of my stomach is something that I experience even today when I’m facing a dangerous situation.”

He also mentioned that back then, body doubles and safety nets were not used, saying, “Also, remember three decades ago, we didn’t use body doubles and safety nets. We just went for it. It was a leap of faith – in my father and my youth. These moments happen. You don’t make them happen.”

For the unversed, the film Phool Aur Kaante was released in 1991 and directed by Kuku Kohli and written by Iqbal Durrani. The movie stars Ajay Devgn, Arif Khan, Aruna Irani, and Madhoo in the lead roles.
