Morocco secured a 4-2 victory in a penalty shootout against Nigeria, with Youssef El-Nesyri scoring the decisive penalty and goalkeeper Yassine “Bono” Bounou making crucial saves that included twice stopping shots from Samuel Chukwueze, as the match ended 0-0 after regulation and extra time. The semifinal took place at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, attracting 65,458 spectators. Meanwhile, Senegal triumphed over Egypt with a 1-0 victory, thanks to Sadio Mane’s goal in the 78th minute. The final match will see the hosts, Morocco, facing the reigning champions, Senegal, in Rabat on Sunday.
