Israeli forces have been reported to have committed 1,193 violations of a ceasefire agreement over a span of 90 days, resulting in the deaths of 484 Palestinians and injuring 1,206 others, according to the Gaza Government Media Office. The violations included direct gunfire at civilians, shelling of homes, military incursions into residential areas, and extensive demolitions.

The ministry characterized these actions as “grave and systematic violations” of both the ceasefire agreement and international humanitarian law. Specific incidents documented included 384 cases of direct gunfire against civilians, 66 military incursions into residential neighborhoods, 551 incidents of shelling targeting civilian homes, and 192 cases involving the demolition of houses and other civilian structures. Additionally, the statement noted 50 instances of unlawful arrests during this timeframe.

On the humanitarian side, the Media Office highlighted Israel’s failure to fulfill its obligations under the ceasefire’s humanitarian protocol. Over the 90-day period, only 23,019 aid trucks entered Gaza, significantly below the 54,000 required by the agreement. This translates to an average of 255 trucks per day, compared to the 600 stipulated, resulting in a compliance rate of approximately 43%.

Fuel deliveries were found to be far below agreed levels, with just 539 fuel trucks entering Gaza instead of the 4,500 specified in the agreement, averaging five trucks per day rather than the entitled 50, equating to a compliance rate of around 11%. This shortfall has severely affected vital services, leaving hospitals, bakeries, and water facilities on the brink of paralysis.

Destruction of housing has also escalated. Israeli forces completely demolished 106,400 homes in Gaza during 2025, with an additional 66,000 homes rendered uninhabitable and 41,000 sustaining partial damage. Consequently, approximately 213,000 Palestinians have been displaced. The Ministry also mentioned that 87 shelters for the displaced were targeted during this period.

Restrictions on the entry of essential items such as mobile homes, tents, and plastic tarpaulins have exacerbated the situation. With winter conditions affecting the area, over 50 previously damaged structures have collapsed, resulting in fatalities and injuries among civilians seeking shelter inside. More than 127,000 tents have been reported unusable, leaving over 1.5 million displaced individuals vulnerable to harsh weather conditions. Deaths due to extreme cold in displacement camps have also been recorded.

The ministry has held Israel fully accountable for the deteriorating humanitarian situation, accusing it of undermining the ceasefire through ongoing military actions and hindrances to aid delivery. They have called upon US President Donald Trump, mediators, guarantors of the ceasefire agreement, the United Nations, and the international community to take urgent action. The statement urged these entities to facilitate the agreement’s full implementation, protect civilians, allow unhindered entry of humanitarian aid and fuel, and permit the delivery of materials necessary for shelter in response to what has been described as a burgeoning humanitarian disaster in Gaza.

Additionally, the toll from ongoing violence in the Gaza Strip has risen to 71,409 fatalities and 171,304 injuries since October 2023, according to medical sources cited by the Wafa news agency. Local health authorities reported that at least 14 Palestinians were killed and 17 others injured within the past 24 hours due to continued Israeli attacks, noting that several victims remain trapped under rubble or in the streets as medical and rescue teams struggle to reach them.
