Acme Solar Holdings reported a net profit of ₹115 crore for the second quarter of fiscal 2026, marking a 652 per cent year-on-year increase from ₹15 crore in the same period last year. The renewable energy company’s revenue more than doubled to ₹601 crore, up 104 per cent from ₹295 crore a year earlier.

The company’s EBITDA rose 108 per cent to ₹534 crore, with margins improving to 88.8 per cent from 86.8 per cent in the previous year. The strong performance was driven by capacity additions and higher capacity utilisation factors, which increased to 24.1 per cent from 22.2 per cent year-on-year.

During the quarter, Acme Solar partially commissioned 28 MW of a 100 MW wind project in Gujarat, bringing its cumulative commissioned capacity in the first half to 378 MW. The company won contracts for 720 MW of solar and energy storage capacity and signed power purchase agreements for 50 MW with Tata Power Company, marking its first deal with a private distribution company.

The company received credit rating upgrades from CRISIL and ICRA to AA-/Stable, its highest rating to date. It also secured debt of approximately ₹7,050 crore for 680 MW of projects and achieved interest rate reductions on existing debt following the rating upgrade.

Acme Solar operationalized a 10 MWh battery energy storage system in Rajasthan in October on a pilot basis, with phased commissioning of a larger 5.1 GWh order expected from the fourth quarter onwards.

The shares of Acme Solar Holdings Limited were trading at ₹271.80 down by ₹0.85 or 0.31 per cent on the NSE today at 11.30 am.
