Vardhman Textiles Stock Rises 7% Despite Q2 Profit Drop

The company’s consolidated net profit after tax fell 5 per cent y-o-y to ₹187.76 crore in the September 2025 quarter compared to ₹197.29 crore in the year-ago period.

Revenue from operations also declined to ₹2,480.10 crore in the quarter under review as against ₹2,502.42 crore in the same quarter last year.

Revenue from textile segment declined by 2 per cent to 2,417 crore in Q2FY26, while revenue from acrylic fabrics increased 27 per cent to 89.4 crore, according to the regulatory filing.

Despite profit decline, the stock zoomed over 11 per cent following the results. However, it closed at ₹437.70, hitting an intraday high of 453.90 on the BSE.
