BHEL Secures Two Major Contracts Valued at ₹13,000-15,000 Crores

State-owned Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) announced on Tuesday that it has secured two projects estimated between ₹13,000 crore and ₹15,000 crore. The notifications of award were received from M.P. Power Generating Company Ltd. (MPPGCL), as stated in an exchange filing by BHEL.

The contracts fall within the range of ₹13,000 crore to ₹15,000 crore, excluding taxes and duties. The notice of award received on Monday pertains to Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) packages for the 1×660 MW Amarkantak Unit No. 6 and the 1×660 MW Satpura Unit No. 12 Supercritical Thermal Power Plants, both located in Madhya Pradesh. The EPC scope includes the supply of equipment, erection, commissioning, and civil works.

Both projects are expected to be completed within a timeline of 57 months from the date of award.
