Ampere, the electric two-wheeler brand under Greaves Electric Mobility, unveiled the Magnus Grand electric scooter on Wednesday, introducing advanced Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery technology backed by a warranty of five years or 75,000 kilometers. The scooter has been priced at ₹89,999 (ex-showroom).
The Magnus Grand is built on the Magnus Neo platform, which gained recognition for completing a 2,300 km journey from Bangalore to Delhi. This new model features a dual-frame chassis and is designed to cater to urban families, emphasizing enhanced safety and comfort.
Notable specifications include an updated digital display, reinforced grab rail, advanced braking technology, and spacious seating that accommodates higher payload capacities.
The scooter will be available in two premium dual-tone color options—Matcha Green and Ocean Blue—featuring gold finish badging.

Greaves Electric Mobility, a subsidiary of Greaves Cotton Limited, has over 16 years of experience in electric vehicle manufacturing and serves more than 300,000 riders. The company filed a draft red herring prospectus with SEBI in December 2024 for a proposed initial public offering.
This launch occurs as India’s electric vehicle market continues to grow, with established manufacturers rolling out upgraded models that feature improved battery technology and extended warranties.
