J. Kumar Infraprojects Limited has clinched a significant infrastructure contract worth ₹1,020.70 crore from the City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra (CIDCO), as per a regulatory filing released today.
At 12.28 pm on the NSE, shares of J. Kumar Infraprojects Limited were trading at ₹700.25, reflecting a rise of ₹22.60 or 3.34 per cent.
The company has been awarded a Letter of Acceptance for the “Design and Construction of Coastal Road from Jalmarg Sector-16, Kharghar to PMAY Housing scheme near Kharghar Railway Station and Pedestrian Underpass near Delhi Public School, Nerul, Navi Mumbai.” The project is slated to be completed within 30 months.
Emerging as the sole bidder for this endeavor, J. Kumar Infraprojects is geared to bolster connectivity in the swiftly burgeoning Navi Mumbai territory. The company affirms that the project does not involve any related party transactions and that neither promoters nor group entities hold any stake in CIDCO.
This latest contract further bolsters J. Kumar Infraprojects’ order book, underscoring its commitment to expanding its infrastructure development footprint in Maharashtra. The initiative aligns with the ongoing urban development thrust in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, particularly in linking key locales in Navi Mumbai.
