The Election Commission of India disclosed the specifics of the bypolls for these five seats on March 3.

The current MLAs will cast their votes to elect the new five MLCs. The counting of votes is scheduled to take place on March 27 after the voting is completed.

In last year’s Maharashtra Assembly Election, the BJP-led Mahayuti alliance secured a commanding victory, obtaining an impressive 235 seats. This outcome marked a significant accomplishment for the BJP, establishing it as the largest party with 132 seats.
