Unilever and the International Cricket Council (ICC) have announced a game-changing two-year partnership, making Unilever’s personal care brands Rexona and Dove the ICC’s exclusive commercial partner for women’s cricket until 2027. This groundbreaking deal was unveiled at a cricket festival in Dubai on International Women’s Day, with the aim of accelerating the global development of women’s cricket. The partnership will encompass major tournaments such as the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 in India, Women’s T20 World Cups, U19 Women’s T20 World Cups, and the inaugural Women’s Champions Trophy in 2027.

Jay Shah, the Chairman of the ICC, hailed the partnership as a “pivotal moment for women’s cricket” that will “empower female cricketers, inspire future generations, and significantly contribute to the growth and success of women’s cricket worldwide.” The collaboration includes various initiatives like the Flag Bearers program and digital experiences during events, with Rexona also promoting participation through women’s cricket festivals and collaborating on women’s hygiene education programs.

Hindustan Unilever CEO, Rohit Jawa, highlighted that the partnership enables Rexona to “tap into a cultural moment, connect with new audiences, and help drive women’s cricket even further.” The trading of Hindustan Unilever Limited shares reflected the positive reception of the partnership, with the shares trading at an increase of ₹61.45 or 2.79 per cent on the NSE at 1.33 pm.

The partnership between Unilever and the ICC signifies a significant step forward for women’s cricket, with a focus on promoting inclusivity, empowerment, and growth in the sport globally.
