Radhika Apte’s directorial debut: ‘Kotya’s Fantasy Fury’

Radhika Apte is venturing into a new realm as a director with her upcoming action-fantasy film Kotya. The film follows the story of a young migrant sugarcane cutter who gains superpowers through a forced medical procedure. With these newfound abilities, she sets out to free her family from the burdens of debt. Produced by filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane, Kotya promises to be a captivating Hindi/Marathi film.

Known for her versatile roles in acclaimed movies like PadMan, Andhadhun, Vikram Vedha, and Lust Stories, Radhika Apte has already made a mark in the world of acting. Her recent appearance in Sister Midnight, which received a BAFTA nomination and premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, further solidified her talent. Additionally, Radhika recently welcomed a child with her husband Benedict Taylor, sharing the joyous news on social media.
