In the year 2025, one thing that is highly desired is a personal butler, without the classism. The demands of adulting have led to a sense of entitlement to an outsourcing service that can handle tasks such as planning, Googling, note-taking, and even worrying about weather conditions. The new Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra aims to fulfill this role, acting as a modern-day Jeeves to assist in various tasks. However, does it always deliver flawlessly, or does it encounter some hiccups like us mere mortals? Let’s delve into a detailed review to find out.

Aesthetics The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra exudes a premium and sturdy build. Available in a range of colors, including serious tones like Grey, Black, and Whitesilver, as well as fun options like Jadegreen and Pinkgold, the device flaunts a Titanium Silverblue variant. With pleasantly rounded corners and a comfortable feel in hand despite its large 6.9-inch display, the phone weighs a manageable 218 grams, shedding some weight compared to its predecessor.

Multimedia Testing the device with the thriller “Black Warrant” on Netflix, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra’s unique 19.5:9 aspect ratio provided an immersive viewing experience. While there was some empty space on the sides when watching content, zooming in did not compromise the visual details. The audio quality was crisp, though the bass could have been punchier. Overall, the device delivered a satisfying multimedia experience.

Productivity Featuring the S-Pen tucked neatly at the bottom left corner, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra offers various functionalities to enhance productivity. The ‘Drawing Assist’ feature, which automatically offers style options when detecting a face in portraits, proved to be a fun tool. However, some portraits led to inaccurate results when not detecting the face correctly. The device also integrates useful features like Live Translate for global communication needs.

Camera The main highlight of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra is its impressive camera setup, including a 200 MP main sensor, a 50 MP ultra-wide lens, and two telephoto lenses. The device excels in photography, capturing rich colors and sharp details in both daylight and low-light conditions. The 12 MP front camera delivers sharp selfies, while new features like the zoom slider and advanced exposure monitor enhance the overall photography experience.

Tech Specs Powered by the Snapdragon Gen 8 Elite for Galaxy, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra offers stellar performance with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The device handles multitasking seamlessly, providing a smooth user experience. Gaming on the device is enjoyable, with granular control over display quality for each game. The smartphone’s One UI 7 brings notable changes for enhanced usability.

Verdict The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra impresses with its design, lightweight feel, long battery life, and seamless performance. However, some AI features like Drawing Assist and Sketch to Image may not always deliver accurate results. Videos in low light can be noisy, and the device lacks significant design or hardware upgrades from its predecessor. Despite these drawbacks, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra stands out as a powerful premium smartphone in 2025. The only downside may be its hefty price tag.

Snapshot

  • ₹1,29,999 (12 GB + 256 GB)
  • ₹1,41,999 (12 GB + 512 GB)
  • ₹1,65,999 (12 GB + 1 TB)

Pros:

  • Snappy performance
  • Bright display
  • Lightweight for its size
  • Deeper AI integration across apps

Cons:

  • Some AI features feel gimmicky
  • Inaccuracies in certain AI functionalities
  • High price tag

In conclusion, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra emerges as a top contender among premium smartphones in 2025, offering a blend of performance, design, and features that cater to modern tech enthusiasts.
