Target Price: ₹570

BlackBuck, the leading full-stack tech platform for truck operators in India, provides a range of services including payments (tolling and fuelling), telematics, load matching, and vehicle financing. As of Q2FY25, the company boasts 700k monthly transacting truck operators, with over 47% utilizing two or more services. Additionally, BlackBuck captures around 40% of the country’s tolling market share through its FASTags and has over 390k monthly active telematics devices.

Operating on an asset-light model, BlackBuck ensures high contribution margins through strong retention and sustained recurring revenues. Despite relying on partners for services like FASTag and vehicle financing, customers interact solely with the integrated platform, building loyalty and trust in BlackBuck.

We initiate coverage on Zinka Logistics Solutions Ltd. (BlackBuck) with a Buy rating, valuing the business through a DCF-based valuation approach.

Key risks include potential slowdowns in tolling and telematics growth, challenges in scaling load-matching or vehicle financing, disruptions to the FASTag system, and the possibility of trucking OEMs capturing a significant share of the telematics market.
