Positive momentum for Axis Bank and TCS as Sensex falls; Zomato and Power Grid weigh down markets

The stock market is always a hot topic, and today we saw some interesting movements among the BSE Sensex stocks. Axis Bank Ltd, TCS, HUL, and IndusInd Bank emerged as the top gainers, while Zomato Ltd, Power Grid Corporation, Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone Ltd, Tata Steel Ltd, and NTPC Ltd were among the major losers.

The Sensex and Nifty extended their losing streak today, with the Sensex falling 1.36% and the Nifty down 1.47%. Despite the overall market decline, Axis Bank managed to gain 0.78%, followed by TCS with a 0.62% increase. HUL and IndusInd Bank also posted modest gains.

On the other hand, Zomato was the biggest loser of the day, dropping 6.52%, followed by Power Grid Corporation and Adani Ports. Tata Steel and NTPC also saw significant declines.

The market opened lower today, and both the Sensex and Nifty continued to slide throughout the session. It will be interesting to see how these stocks perform in the coming days and whether they can recover from today’s losses.
