2025 Women’s ODI World Cup Points Standings After India vs Australia Showdown

Visakhapatnam: In Game 13 of the ongoing Women’s World Cup 2025, Australia delivered a stellar performance against India at the ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium on October 12. Batting first, India produced an impressive total of 330 runs, anchored by significant contributions from Pratika Rawal and Smriti Mandhana, who scored 75 and 80 runs, respectively.

Despite India’s strong showing, Annabel Sutherland’s exceptional bowling performance limited the team’s total; she claimed five wickets while Sophie Molineux added three. Megan Schutt and Ashleigh Gardner each took one wicket as well.

In response, Australia chased down the highest total in Women’s One Day International (WODI) history, securing victory by three wickets. The Australian captain, Alyssa Healy, played a crucial role, scoring 142 runs off 107 balls, while Ellyse Perry remained not out at 47.

India Maintains Third Position in Standings

Regarding the standings in the Women’s World Cup 2025, India retained its third position after the match. Prior to the game against Australia, India stood in third place and remains there, having played four matches with two wins and two losses, totaling four points.

Australia, entering the match in second place, now tops the points table following their historic win. England remains close behind them in second spot. South Africa holds the fourth position, with New Zealand and Bangladesh in fifth and sixth, respectively.
