YSRCP Leader Vijayasai Reddy Announces Resignation from Rajya Sabha and Retirement from Politics

El Secretario General del Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP), V Vijayasai Reddy, anunció el viernes 24 de enero que renunciará como miembro del Rajya Sabha y también se retirará de la política el 25 de enero. Vijayasai Reddy, quien también es el líder del partido en la Cámara Alta, indicó que no se unirá a ningún otro partido político.

Actualmente, Reddy se encuentra en su segundo mandato como miembro del Rajya Sabha por Andhra Pradesh. Si bien el MP no reveló el motivo detrás de su decisión de renunciar como miembro del Rajya Sabha y de abandonar la política, dejó claro que era una decisión personal.

En una publicación en X, Vijayasai Reddy expresó: “Esta decisión es completamente personal. No hubo presión. Nadie me influyó.”

“Estoy dejando la política. Renunciaré a mi membresía del Rajya Sabha mañana, (25 de enero). No me uniré a ningún partido político. No renuncio esperando algún puesto, beneficio o dinero,” afirmó.

El secretario general del YSRCP también agradeció al Primer Ministro Narendra Modi y al Ministro del Interior Amit Shah por brindarle reconocimiento en Andhra Pradesh. También lee |

“Un agradecimiento especial al Primer Ministro Narendra Modi y al Ministro del Interior Amit Shah por animarme durante casi nueve años, dándome una inmensa fuerza y valor, y reconociéndome en el estado telugu”, dijo Reddy, de 67 años.

Vijayasai Reddy, quien fue una de las figuras clave del partido liderado por el ex Ministro Principal YS Jagan Mohan Reddy en el estado, mencionó estar agradecido a la familia YS, quienes le han brindado apoyo durante cuatro décadas y tres generaciones.
