As per the Tamil Film Producers’ Council’s guidelines, “Vaazhai” is projected to be available for streaming within six to eight weeks of its theatrical release, which means it could be around September 2024. However, the official OTT release date and platform are yet to be confirmed by the makers.
The story follows Shivanaindhan, a young boy burdened by laborious work in the banana fields, showcasing the emotional and physical toll of his oppressive circumstances. The film also delves into his brief moments of escape through his school experiences.
Featuring a talented cast led by Ponvel M, alongside Raghul R, Kalaiyarasan, Nikhila Vimal, and J Sathish Kumar, “Vaazhai” promises to be a poignant cinematic experience for viewers.
