Top Movers in Stock Market Today: UltraTech, Bharti Airtel, Reliance, and HDFC Bank Dominate Gains and Losses

Share prices of UltraTech Cement Ltd., Bharti Airtel Ltd., Infosys Ltd., NTPC Ltd., and Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. were the top gainers on Monday’s trading session.

On the flip side, shares of Reliance Industries Ltd., Bajaj Finserv Ltd., HDFC Bank Ltd., Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd., and Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. ended as the top losers.

The BSE Sensex closed marginally lower at 73,085.94, down 112.16 points or 0.15 per cent, while the NSE Nifty 50 index finished at 22,119.30, dipping 5.40 points or 0.02 per cent.

UltraTech Cement led the gains by surging 2.21 per cent to ₹10,337.55, followed by Bharti Airtel with a 1.76 per cent rise to ₹1,597.25. Infosys gained 1.19 per cent to close at ₹1,708.10, NTPC added 1.14 per cent to finish at ₹314.50, and Mahindra & Mahindra saw a 1.06 per cent gain, ending at ₹2,611.50.

On the losing side, Reliance Industries dropped 2.38 per cent to ₹1,171.10, while Bajaj Finserv declined 1.86 per cent to ₹1,838.20. HDFC Bank fell 1.72 per cent to ₹1,701.25, Adani Ports slipped 1.63 per cent to ₹1,052.75, and Maruti Suzuki closed 1.48 per cent lower at ₹11,768.40.

The day’s trading session was marked by high volatility, with markets recovering from intraday lows. The Nifty tested the crucial psychological support level of 22,000 before staging a recovery in the latter half of the trading session amid ongoing global trade concerns and continued foreign investor outflows.
