Indian Hotels Company has announced a ₹2,500-crore investment in a new 330-room property in Mumbai called “Taj Bandstand.” Construction will begin this year and is expected to take over three years to complete, creating direct employment for 1,000 people.

IndusInd International Holdings Limited (IIHL) is set to acquire debt-ridden Reliance Capital by February 26, as confirmed by the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) on Monday. IIHL has submitted all necessary documents for the acquisition.

Coffee Day Enterprises Ltd (CDEL) is in negotiations with creditor IDBI Trusteeship Services to settle its debts outside of the insolvency proceedings before the NCLAT. The insolvency proceedings against CDEL were stayed by NCLAT on August 14, 2024.

Reliance Consumer Products, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries, has launched a sports hydration drink called Spinner in collaboration with Muttiah Muralitharan. The drink is priced at Rs 10 for a 150 ml bottle.

Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) and BP have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore collaboration opportunities across the energy industry in India and internationally. The focus will be on oil and gas exploration, production, and trading.

Lupin has received USFDA approval to market a generic equivalent of Atrovent nasal spray, 0.03%, by Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

Mankind Pharma has approved the sale of its stake in Mahananda Spa and Resorts Private Ltd to Chalet Hotels for ₹530 crore. The proceeds will be used to pay off debts.

Sona BLW Precision Forgings has approved an Amendment and Restatement of the Business Transfer Agreement with Escorts Kubota Ltd for the acquisition of Railway Equipment Division (RED) business of Escorts Kubota.
