“Legacy applications are transitioning slowly to the cloud. Many existing apps are still unable to function in a cloud environment, but this is not prioritized for change, partly because CFOs do not exert pressure on CIOs due to tax advantages gained from depreciating hardware assets. Change often becomes imperative only when approaching hardware renewal deadlines,” reasons Rajesh Batra, former CIO of Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.

High-quality, up-to-date data is now a rare commodity. As AI models become increasingly commoditized, the quality and recency of training data has become a real competitive edge. For instance, OpenAI seeks to secure data by offering free access to ChatGPT, yet real-time data primarily resides within social media, emails, and chats,” remarks Gaurav Rawat, an AI leader in the financial sector with experience across the automotive and pharmaceutical industries.

Organizations will invest in continuous monitoring, identity-first security, and AI-driven threat detection to combat increasingly sophisticated cyber threats. The relationship between humans and technology is expected to further transform, with technology expected to augment rather than replace talent.
