The unveiling of the new Ultraviolette F77 SuperStreet came as a surprise, with no prior leaks or spy shots to give us a clue about its design. As I laid eyes on the motorcycle, which appeared to be a carbon copy of the F77 Mach 2 with some minor modifications such as new stickers, liveries, and a single-piece handlebar, I couldn’t help but feel a sense of underwhelm. However, as I geared up to test ride the F77 SuperStreet, I was pleasantly surprised by the difference in performance compared to its sibling.

Taking the F77 SuperStreet out on the road, I immediately noticed the improved handling and comfort thanks to the taller and wider handlebar. Navigating through traffic and rough roads was a breeze, and the riding position felt more commanding. The suspension setup, although identical to the F77 Mach 2, performed better on the SuperStreet, offering a smoother ride and less strain on the wrists.

Moving on to the track, the F77 SuperStreet showcased its agility and prowess. The new handlebar setup made cornering a breeze, and the MRF Steel Brace tires provided excellent grip. The regenerative braking system, with 10 levels of adjustability, proved to be a valuable asset on the track, enhancing the overall riding experience.

With close to 40 bhp and 9.6 kg-m of torque on tap, the F77 SuperStreet delivers a thrilling performance, regardless of the riding conditions. The three riding modes – Combat, Glide, and Ballistic – cater to different riding styles, while the four-level traction control ensures a safe and controlled ride. The 10.3 kWh battery offers an impressive range of 323 km and can be fast-charged in just 60 minutes.

Overall, the F77 SuperStreet is a well-rounded package that excels both on the road and the track. Priced at ₹2.99 lakh for the standard version and ₹3.99 lakh for the Recon variant, it offers great value for money. While the styling may not be drastically different from the F77 Mach 2, the performance and handling of the F77 SuperStreet make it a worthy contender in the electric motorcycle segment.
