Skincare Reigns: Honasa Ships Record 99.2 Million Beauty Products in 2024

Honasa Consumer Ltd, the parent company of popular beauty brands Mamaearth and The Derma Co., has had a successful year in 2024. The company reported that they delivered an impressive 99.2 million products across 18,700 pincodes in India.

Skincare products were the top sellers for Honasa Consumer Ltd, with facewashes leading the pack at 26.2 million units, followed by sunscreens at 15.9 million units. Hair care products also performed well, with 11.6 million shampoo units sold and 5.9 million moisturizer units sold.

One major growth category for the company was serum products, with 7.7 million units shipped. The niacinamide serum was especially popular, with 1.5 million units sold, and salicylic acid serums following closely with 1.2 million units sold.

The company’s baby care division under the Mamaearth brand also did well, selling 7.2 million products. Additionally, Mamaearth’s Onion range recorded sales of 9.6 million units.

Regional trends showed that consumer preferences varied across different locations, with Goa leading in sunscreen purchases and Hyderabad emerging as the leading market for baby care products.

Honasa Consumer Ltd’s portfolio includes a range of brands, such as Mamaearth, The Derma Co., Aqualogica, Dr. Sheths, BBlunt, and Staze Beauty.

Overall, Honasa Consumer Ltd had a successful year in 2024, and their growth in the beauty products market is a testament to their strong brand presence and consumer demand.
