Six Power Stocks Shine Bright in Market Spotlight on November 20

The board of Reliance Power has approved the constitution of a Board of Management (BOM) comprising the CEO, Key Managerial Personnel, and senior business leaders of the company. The creation of the BOM represents a step in Reliance Power’s pursuit of stronger governance and sharper oversight mechanisms and build a more agile and future-ready organisation. The initiative reflects the company’s commitment to adopting best-in-class governance practices that support long-term value creation for all stakeholders.

Servotech Renewable Power System Ltd has been awarded a ₹73.70 crore grid-connected rooftop solar project by the New & Renewable Energy Development Corporation of Andhra Pradesh Ltd. The project involves the deployment of grid-connected rooftop solar (RTS) systems across the Kavali division. It marks a major step forward in expanding solar access for underserved communities. Under this mandate, Servotech Renewable will execute the design, engineering, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of rooftop solar plants in varying capacities for 5,886 Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) households. The project will be implemented through a Utility-Led Aggregation (CAPEX) model and includes five years of comprehensive operation & maintenance (O&M).

Singareni Collieries Company Ltd (SCCL) has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC. This partnership aims to explore various business opportunities in the renewable energy sector, including solar, wind, and hybrid projects (with or without storage); green hydrogen and its derivatives; and green mobility initiatives.

CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd has received a final assessment order for assessment year 2018-19, raising tax demands of ₹365.37 crore. The order was issued under Section 143(3) read with Section 144C(13) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, and includes various additions and disallowances made by the Income Tax Department.

ACME Eco Clean Energy, a subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings, has commissioned the 16 MW second phase of its 100 MW wind power project in Gujarat. With this development, ACME Eco Clean Energy has achieved a commissioned capacity of 44 MW of the 100 MW project located at Titoda village in Sayla district of the state.

Godawari New Energy Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Godawari Power & Ispat Ltd, has allotted 12.49 crore non-cumulative, optionally convertible, redeemable preference shares at a face value of ₹10 each, totalling ₹124.95 crore through a rights issue. The remaining investment will be infused in tranches for setting up a battery energy storage system plant. GNEPL has a net worth of ₹25.50 crore as of September 30.
