Design

Visually, the Galaxy S25 FE embodies a sleek modern aesthetic typical of Samsung devices. The reviewed Navy variant presents a subdued yet sophisticated blue hue, with additional options available in black and white. At just 7.4mm thick and weighing 190 grams, the device is both the slimmest and lightest in the FE series, without sacrificing durability. It features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both surfaces and an enhanced Armor Aluminium frame, assuring sturdiness. With an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, the S25 FE stands out in the upper-tier smartphone category while remaining pocket-friendly and manageable for one-handed use.

Display

The S25 FE boasts a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen is visually stunning, vibrant, and features minimal bezels, enhancing content consumption. In reviewing Netflix’s Inspector Zende, the rich streets and atmosphere of 1980s Mumbai were vividly portrayed. Samsung’s characteristic vivid colors dominate the device’s display, which can be adjusted for a more natural appearance. The dual speakers deliver commendable audio quality, making it enjoyable to listen to tracks like Sid Sriram’s “Minnalvala” from Narivetta. Even at elevated volume levels, sound clarity and distortion were well managed, ensuring both music and vocals were distinct, functioning almost as a compact portable speaker.

Camera

The camera configuration in the Galaxy S25 FE includes a 50 MP main lens, a 12 MP ultra-wide lens, and an 8 MP telephoto lens. Photos captured in ample lighting show crispness, vibrancy, and remarkable contrast. In low-light conditions, the camera system effectively manages noise while retaining detail. The 12 MP front-facing camera produces detailed selfies with accurate color representation. For videography, the device supports up to 4K at 60 frames per second, yielding sharp and well-defined footage, even with dynamic subjects.

Performance

The unit reviewed features the Exynos 2400 processor, Samsung’s flagship chip present in the S24+ model, competing with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and Apple A17 Pro. It includes 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, with dual SIM capability alongside options for 256 GB and 512 GB configurations. The S25 FE attained scores of 2,100 in single-core and 6,776 in multi-core tests on Geekbench 6, positioning it among the best, including the Galaxy S24 and Xiaomi 14 Pro. The Exynos 2400 is housed in a vapor chamber that is 13% larger, helping to maintain lower temperatures during prolonged gaming sessions.

Playing *Shadow Fight 4* was engaging, benefiting from the high-refresh-rate display.

Battery

Equipped with a 4,900mAh battery, the S25 FE offers approximately 1.5 days of usage, with nearly 7 hours of screen time encompassing video calls, gaming, and photography. The phone supports 45W wired charging; using a standard 25W charger, it accomplishes a full charge from 2% to 100% in about one hour and twenty minutes.

Verdict

The Samsung Galaxy S25 FE is characterized as a well-rounded device—boasting impressive display quality, sound, and overall performance. It effectively occupies a middle ground within the S25 lineup, delivering a blend of features reminiscent of the S25 Ultra at a more favorable price point. Comparable models include the Vivo X200 FE and OnePlus 13s.
