New Delhi: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan took center stage at a fashion show hosted by renowned designer Vikram Phadnis on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. Numerous photos and videos from the event have circulated widely on social media platforms.

A significant highlight of the evening was Salman Khan’s heartwarming interaction with his “Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya” co-star Sushmita Sen. The two were spotted sharing an affectionate hug, quickly becoming one of the most talked-about moments from the event.

In a widely-viewed video, Sushmita was engaging with designer Vikram Phadnis on stage when she noticed Salman approaching the ramp. Salman extended his hand and invited her to join him on stage. Sushmita responded enthusiastically, rising from her seat with applause and a smile.

The touching exchange went viral, attracting praise from fans in the comments. One user remarked, “Respect bahijaan,” while another stated, “A true gentleman.”

Vikram Phadnis celebrated 35 years in the fashion industry with a grand display of his latest collection, “Ananta.” Salman Khan served as the showstopper, showcasing a traditional black kurta-pyjama combined with a long, embroidered sherwani-style jacket. The ensemble featured an open front, split neckline, gold and fuchsia pink floral embroidery, full sleeves, side slits, padded shoulders, and a fitted silhouette.

The event showcased over 100 models showcasing Phadnis’s collection. Numerous celebrities attended the Mumbai celebration, many adorned in elegant traditional attire. Notable attendees included Salman Khan’s niece Alizeh Agnihotri, Orry, Arhaan, and Arpita Khan.

On the work front, the 59-year-old actor is set to appear in the war-drama film “Battle of Galwan,” directed by Apoorva Lakhia, alongside lead actress Chitrangda Singh. Additionally, Salman Khan is currently hosting Colors TV’s “Bigg Boss” season 19, which premiered on August 24, 2025. The show airs at 9 PM on JioHotstar and at 10:30 PM on Colors TV.
