Maruti Suzuki Begins Testing Brezza Facelift for 2024
New Delhi: Maruti Suzuki is set to enhance its vehicle lineup to better align with industry competitors, currently focusing on the Brezza facelift. This forthcoming update will mark the first revision since the model’s debut in 2022. Anticipated changes include alterations to styling, interior features, and safety enhancements, with a launch expected next year.
Exterior Design Modifications
The exterior of the Brezza facelift is expected to retain much of the current model’s look, introducing only minor updates to refine its aesthetic appeal. Recent images suggest notable design updates, including new black alloy wheels featuring a distinctive swirl pattern. The front lights appear to be more streamlined, potentially giving the vehicle a sleeker profile. Furthermore, the rear may feature an LED light bar, and the bumpers could sport a redesigned shape.
Interior and Feature Enhancements
Inside, the Brezza facelift is likely to showcase minor improvements. This could involve new seat fabrics, revisions to the cabin design, and the addition of user-friendly features. The existing screen sizes, which are 9 inches and 7 inches, are expected to remain unchanged. Higher-end models may offer additional safety features, though specific details about those enhancements are currently unavailable.
Powertrain Specifications
The Brezza facelift will presumably maintain the existing petrol engine and transmission options. These include a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 103 horsepower and 137Nm of torque. This engine will be available with either a 5-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. Additionally, CNG variants are also anticipated to be offered.
