Radico Khaitan Ltd has introduced the Rampur 1943 Virasat Indian Single Malt, expanding its premium whisky range. Priced between ₹3,500 and ₹4,500 per bottle, the new expression will first be available in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Delhi, before a nationwide launch.

This whisky is made from six-row Indian barley and distilled at the company’s facility in Rampur, located in the foothills of the Himalayas. It matures in American Bourbon Barrels and is then finished in Ruby Port Pipes. The unique climate of the distillery, with temperatures ranging from 45°C in summer to 2°C in winter, enhances the maturation process.

Abhishek Khaitan, Managing Director of Radico Khaitan, stated that this launch reflects the distillery’s heritage since 1943 and aims to provide whisky connoisseurs with an authentic Indian single malt experience. Amar Sinha, Chief Operating Officer, noted that the product is designed to make Indian single malts more accessible to a wider audience.

Radico Khaitan is one of India’s largest producers of Indian-Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and operates distilleries in Rampur, Sitapur, and Aurangabad. Its portfolio includes Rampur Indian Single Malt Whiskies, Magic Moments Vodka, Jaisalmer Indian Craft Gin, and 8PM Whisky. The company exports to over 100 countries and is a significant supplier to the Canteen Stores Department.

As of today, Radico Khaitan Ltd’s shares were trading at ₹3,287.80, having increased by ₹14.70 or 0.45 percent on the NSE at 12:35 PM.
