Radico Khaitan Ltd has introduced the Rampur 1943 Virasat Indian Single Malt, expanding its premium whisky range. Priced between ₹3,500 and ₹4,500 per bottle, the new expression will first be available in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Delhi, before a nationwide launch.
This whisky is made from six-row Indian barley and distilled at the company’s facility in Rampur, located in the foothills of the Himalayas. It matures in American Bourbon Barrels and is then finished in Ruby Port Pipes. The unique climate of the distillery, with temperatures ranging from 45°C in summer to 2°C in winter, enhances the maturation process.

Amar Sinha, Chief Operating Officer, noted that the product is designed to make Indian single malts more accessible to a wider audience.
