A suspected Pakistani drone was spotted hovering over a border village in the Ramgarh sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district on Friday night, prompting a significant search operation by security forces. According to sources, the Border Security Force (BSF) and local police were mobilized to the area to determine if narcotics or weapons had been dropped.
Previously, a similar incident occurred on Sunday morning around 6:30 AM in the same sector, but the drone vanished before any response could be initiated. Additionally, on the night of September 6, another suspected Pakistani drone was observed flying over a military garrison in the Bari Brahmana area of Samba district.
The ongoing drone activity along the border highlights persistent security concerns in the region.
